Our vineyard extends over 4.5 hectares in the heart of Casentino, nestled at 450 meters above sea level with a South and South-West exposure. The land, divided into four parcels, boasts a clayey-calcareous texture rich in skeleton, perfect for giving the wines complexity and depth. This unique terroir, combined with the favorable microclimate, creates the ideal conditions for excellent viticulture.
Attention to Detail
To enhance each plot, we adopt two training systems, spurred cordon and guyot, based on the soil, the vine and the exposure. With a planting pattern of 2.20 x 0.70 meters and a density of about 6,500 plants per hectare, the vines push their roots deep, improving resistance to water shortages and absorbing the best mineral nutrients. The result is a production limited in quantity, but extraordinary in quality.
The Essence of Our Wines
We vinify only the best grapes from our vineyards, because what matters to us is quality. Our ampelographic base includes Pinot Nero, Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon for the reds, and Manzoni Bianco for the whites. Each variety is cultivated with passion and dedication, expressing the authentic soul of Casentino in every glass.
