Harvest: by hand with selection of the best bunches
Vinification: vinification in cement tanks where the fermenting must comes into contact with the skins through frequent pumping over and punching down, extracting the colouring substances and aromas. At the end of fermentation the wine is transferred to barriques where it matures and remains for a period of 15 months.
Aging: for at least six months in the bottle.
Organoleptic notes: ruby color with purple hues. Elegant on the nose with aromas of violet, black cherry, red fruits and strong and sweet spices. Very fine tannin that fades into a fruity mouth with good persistence.
Pairing: ragù dishes, grilled meats and game.
